Here are my reads so far in April:
My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult--a very gripping work on medical ethics and how this issue can impact a family. One of the narrators in the work was specifically born to be able to help her sister overcome a medical condition.
In the Company of Soldiers by Rick Atkinson: Coverage of the 101st Airborne Division during the first part of Operation Iraqi Freedom--from before the start of operations in Kuwait until the 101st arrives in Bagdhad--does not cover the division's later work in Mosul Iraq which I thought was a real shortfall!
Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides: The story of a person who starts out life as a girl and later finds out that due to a genetic mutation that she is not a girl at all--but rather a genetic male and how the protagonist copes with this discovery.
The Client by John Grisham--A eleven year old finds out where a body is buried and both the Mafia and the FBI want to know.
